Purple Tuesday is a global social movement and the number one brand for improving the customer experience for disabled people and their families 365 days a year. This includes accessibility and in inclusivity for disabled consumers.

Participating organisations are dedicated to making public commitments each year to improve accessibility and practices, ensuring that disabled customers have a more inclusive and positive experience. These commitments involve initiating at least one new activity or initiative

The Purple Tuesday movement takes center stage each year on the first Tuesday of November. It serves as a celebratory day, promoting accessibility and inclusivity. In 2022, this impactful event reached an astounding 23 million people, garnered over 6000 participating organisations and 7000 commitments to improve. The movement received substantial media coverage with over 100 items across broadcast and print media. Purple Tuesday formed partnerships with 28 sector leaders who actively contribute to the cause. Additionally, boasted a vibrant social media presence, with over 40,000 interactions and engagement on the day. The movement has also appointed 15 disabled customer ambassadors, further amplifying our reach and influence with a social community of more than 120,000 followers .

What made Purple Tuesday even more remarkable is its global impact. The movement is celebrated in five countries including UK, USA, UAE, Malaysia and Pakistan , transcending boundaries and uniting people worldwide in the pursuit of accessibility and inclusion.”
